From leading some of our largest accounts to making his mark in marketing.

I joined Miele in 2022, drawn by its premium reputation and the opportunity to grow in a new environment. I started as a Key Account Manager and quickly progressed to National Account Manager, where I oversaw relationships with Currys and Hughes. Later, I moved into Marketing as a Category Manager to broaden my skills and experience.

From the very beginning, what stood out to me was Miele’s people-first culture, collaborative approach, and genuine commitment to employee development—especially through its dedicated sales development programme and the opportunities for a varied career path.

From customer service to HR Operations across Europe.

I began my journey at Miele in 2012 as a Customer Support Advisor and have since progressed through roles in customer service, complaints handling, field service dispatch, and team management. My passion for people and leadership inspired me to move into HR in 2019, where I completed a CIPD Level 3 qualification. Today, I’m proud to serve as an HR Operations Specialist across Great Britain, Ireland, and the Nordics.

What’s kept me at Miele is the unwavering support for personal development and the inspiring leadership I’ve experienced along the way. I truly value the people, the brand, and the opportunities that come with being part of a business that invests in its employees. Before joining Miele, I spent nearly a decade managing customer-focused teams in retail, where I built a strong foundation in leadership and delivering exceptional service.

I was drawn to Miele’s reputation for quality and innovation, which inspired me to make the move. I started in the Outlet Store and then progressed through roles in Telesales, Aftersales, and our Experience Centers. Each step gave me hands-on product knowledge and shaped my leadership style, deepening my passion for the brand.

Today, I’m proud to be the Store Manager at Miele GB’s largest Experience Centre in Abingdon. I thrive on problem-solving, developing my team, and the excitement of opening new stores. For anyone considering a career with Miele, my advice is simple: be curious, proactive, and open to learning—those qualities have defined my own journey and success here.

What to expect?

We have an application and selection process that is pretty thorough. Although we may not be able to give specific feedback, we do aim to respond to everyone who applies. Our process is designed to be as fair and straightforward as possible and to help you get the most out of it and is dependent on level and requirements of the role.

We are always open to reasonable adjustments to our process where possible. Please make your needs clear on your application and we will review with you as appropriate.

1 - Your Application
Application

Create your personal profile in our application portal and easily upload your CV and any other relevant documents. A cover letter is optional but always greatly appreciated. Make sure to outline any transferable skills, key experience and importantly - why Miele?

You will receive an automated acknowledgement email to confirm receipt of your application. If you do not receive this email please check with us.

2 - First Interview
First Interview

After we have shortlisted our potential candidates you will be invited to an informal virtual meeting, we’ll talk about your experience and the position you've applied for, answer any questions you may have, and lay out next steps. Our main focus however is to get to know the real you.

Make sure to come with any questions you may have and focus on linking your knowledge, experience and skills to the role you have applied for.

3 - Second Interview
Second Interview

After a successful first interview, we will invite you to visit us on site at Abingdon or to a virtual 2nd interview. This gives you valuable insights into your future working environment and a chance to experience our company culture firsthand.

The interview process will vary depending on the position but expect a discussion on your careers, skills and experience as well as an in depth competency based interview. For more senior positions you may also have a task / activity and presentation. This will be explained in the invite.

4 - Offer
Offer

We’ll get back to you as soon as possible after the interview. If we decide to move forward together, we will send you a detailed offer – and before long, it’s time to say: Welcome@Miele!

You'll receive a structured onboarding and a warm Miele welcome as we work towards Immer Besser!

5 - Onboarding
Onboarding

After all of your offer paperwork is completed we'll work to give you a premium welcome to Miele. As you join us you'll be immersed in our Immer Besser culture, get hands on with our products and work through your structured onboarding programme.

But this is just the start of a long, exciting career with a premium family owned company.
