About Your Workplace
Our Projects Division partners with the residential development and construction industry to deliver premium appliance solutions for multi-residential developments and new homes.
Based in Brisbane, the Business Development Manager – Projects plays a key role in expanding Miele’s presence within the property development sector. The role focuses on building strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers and builders while identifying new project opportunities and driving sales growth within the territory.
This position suits a commercially minded professional who enjoys working across the property and construction ecosystem while representing a globally recognised premium brand.
Your Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, builders and other stakeholders involved in residential development projects

Identify and develop new project opportunities within multi-residential developments and the new home builder channel

Manage structured client call cycles, conduct regular account reviews and deliver product presentations and training to builder sales teams and design partners

Proactively identify new development opportunities through industry tools such as BCI and maintain an active pipeline through CRM systems
-
Represent Miele at industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to strengthen partnerships and generate new project leads

Ensure supply agreements, pricing structures and customer records are maintained in accordance with company policies and CRM standards

Provide regular sales forecasts, market insights and project updates to support internal planning and achievement of sales targets
What We Are Looking For
Must-have

Proven success in B2B sales or business development with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets

Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence architects, builders, developers and key decision makers

Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

Highly organised with strong CRM and pipeline management capability

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Nice-to-have

Experience working with architects, developers, builders or the residential construction industry

Experience in appliances, building products, interior design or related industries

Familiarity with industry lead platforms such as BCI
